What a first year for Naramata Gathers
Our first annual Naramata Gathers festival of events has officially wrapped up, and what a wonderful ten days of celebrating everything we love about this special little corner of the South Okanagan.
From October 2 -12, the Naramata Bench came alive with a fabulous mix of food, wine, music, theatre, art, maker markets and all kinds of harvest-inspired experiences. And what made it even better? Seeing so many locals and visitors out and about, supporting our businesses, connecting with friends and neighbours, and enjoying everything that makes harvest season in Naramata so special.

This is exactly what Naramata Gathers was all about.
We wanted to create something that brought our community together, showcased the incredible people and businesses that make up the Naramata Bench, and give everyone a few more reasons to get out and enjoy this beautiful time of year. And wow, did our community deliver!
From intimate winery experiences and special dinners to live performances, creative workshops, village gatherings and the return of Roll Out the Barrel, there was something for just about everyone.
A huge thank you to all of our Discover Naramata business members, artists, chefs, farmers, winemakers, musicians, volunteers and community partners who jumped in with both feet to help bring this first year to life. Your creativity, enthusiasm and willingness to collaborate are what made it all happen.
And of course, thank you to everyone who came out. Whether you joined us for one event or filled your calendar with Naramata Gathers experiences, we loved seeing you out enjoying the Bench, discovering something new and supporting local along the way.
One of the best things to come out of Naramata Gathers has been seeing the connections and collaborations between our members and throughout the community. That’s the kind of momentum we hope to keep building, not just during this ten-day celebration, but well beyond it.
Harvest has always been one of the most beautiful times to experience the Naramata Bench, and we’re pretty excited about what we’ve started here.
So, shall we do it again next year? We think so!

Here’s to the first annual Naramata Gathers, to everyone who helped make it happen, and to making this celebration of wine, food, harvest and the arts an annual tradition.
See you in October 2027!
With thanks from all of us at Discover Naramata.
