At Chain Reaction Winery & Pizzeria, owners Joel & Linda are involved in every aspect of the operation from making wine and pizza, working in the tasting room and vineyards, and marketing and label design. They welcome all wine and pizza lovers to their tasting room to taste fabulous wine and artisan wood fired pizza while enjoying the beautiful view of their estate vineyard and Okanagan Lake.

THE WINE

Chain Reaction is known for their refreshing aromatic white wines such as Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Riesling and Chardonnay. Being Pinot Noir lovers, they produce multiple expressions of it: Blanc de Noir (still wine), Rose, Pendulum Pinot Noir and Reserve Pinot Noir. Each bottle has a carefully crafted image that tells the story of that wine. The winery produces approximately 1500 cases per year and wines are generally not available in liquor stores.

THE PIZZA

In 2024, the winery opened the wood fired pizza oven in response to the devasting winter freeze. The pizza has received amazing reviews ranging from the “best pizza I’ve ever had” to “I would want this pizza as my last meal if I were on death row”. Chef Joel has crafted some incredibly unique pizzas using high quality meats and cheeses, and fresh local ingredients.

THE NAME

The name Chain Reaction has 3 meanings:

· The chain references their love of cycling and triathlon

· A chain reaction of events brought them to this new venture

· A chain reaction occurs while transforming grapes into great wine!
