Terravista Vineyards and En Terre wines are owned and operated by the Thors, a local family with 15 acres of vineyards on the Naramata Bench. The small winery tucked away up Sutherland road features unique Spanish-style wines, including Albarino and offers an intimate and unique experience tasting amongst the barrels and tanks.

Our Approach

Our Estate Vineyard, Lone Hand Ranch, is the home to a one of a kind wine we call “FANDANGO”. Spanish varietals, Albariño and Verdejo, typically grown in northwestern Spain and Portugal, were planted here in 2008. We also produce unique Rhone influenced white wines as well as bubbles (traditional method and charmat). We focus on sustainable farming using alternative energy sources to our homes, reducing consumption and reducing interventions in the vineyards as much as possible. What does this translate into: 4 Solar Arrays installed at En Terre Vineyards, Electric utility vehicles when possible, manual canopy management, manual hedging and weeding, livestock integration, reducing pesticides and herbicides.

Get to Know Us

At the heart of Terravista Vineyards and our new brand, En Terre Wines is our small team, with owners, Eric and Dallas Thor, winemaker Nadine Kinvig, as well as GM Erin Korpisto and our wine farmers, Laura Dunn and Lena Stelkia. We are known for our collaborative and organic approach to farming. Our winemaker, Nadine Kinvig is on her 19th vintage in BC, and produces unique wines, with crisp acidity and great aging potential in both portfolios – En Terre and Terravista Vineyards.
