Van Westen Vineyards stands behind 3 generations and 60+ years of family tradition cultivating the soils of the Naramata Bench. From growing tree fruits since 1954 we have converted only 30% of our land to grapes since 1999.

My passion for growing wine came from selling grapes to premium wineries in the valley and studying viticulture and winemaking at Okanagan University College in Penticton. In 2003 I fermented my first vintage of 135 cases, and in 2015, broke the 2000 case barrier; a small winery at heart. All the wines are made from grapes grown by us, within a 2 km radius of the winery. I am involved in every step, “from grapes to glass”, to what ends up in your bottle. Being born and raised, even eating dirt in Naramata, I am incredibly lucky to call my passion for what I do “work”. I love my job, my office, and what I do every day.

For a no frills tasting experience, visit our tasting room in the shed, or on our website at vanwestenvineyards.com. Our wine selections range from a clean, crisp Grigio, to Viognier Icewine, to Voluptuous, our signature Bordeaux style blend.
