Open to people of all ages, Naramata Centre is an inclusive, welcoming place to connect and deepen in mind, body and spirit. Situated on 23 acres of land on the east shore of Lake Okanagan, the Centre provides a peaceful oasis for children, teens, adults, families and elders to play, relax, grow and be authentically themselves, supported in community. Throughout the year, there are a variety of ways you can come and experience the beauty of this place.
Enjoy the mild winters of the Okanagan and revel in the freshness of Spring as the earth awakens! Join us throughout early 2019 for adult and children’s programming, spiritual retreats, and our Hearts and Hands volunteer event. You may also like to plan your own personal or group retreat with us. Please note Winter / Spring bookings are for a minimum 3 nights consecutive stay, and you are welcome to extend your trip, availability permitting, up to a maximum of 21 days.
In July & August, the Centre offers week-long experiences: check in on Saturday afternoon and depart the following Saturday morning. Each week we come together to create community on Sunday evening with our Welcome Circle. During the week there are opportunities to participate in worship, afternoon games, evening activities, pot-luck dinners, family dances, etc. -- all while supported by our Music Leaders, Spiritual Leaders, Campground Hosts, Summer Leaders, and the amazing staff, volunteers and other participants at Naramata Centre.
September – November we enjoy the warm days of Fall at the Centre. During this time we offer a range of retreats for seniors, adult and children weekend programs, and spiritual retreats. You may also like to plan your own personal or group retreat with us.
Throughout the year there is a weekly contemplative service at the Centre, and a variety of health and wellness practitioners and spiritual directors here in the village that we can connect you with, to make your stay all it can be. On top of all of this, Naramata village has a grocery store, coffee shop, retail shops and summer farmers market within a short walk from the Centre. A longer walk or short drive takes you to over 30 Naramata Bench wineries, a distillery and more restaurant options.
Accommodation options are designed to fit all budgets: Stay in vintage 1- or 2-bedroom cabins 1-or 2-bedroom motel-style units, a contemporary 3-bedroom apartment or bring your RV and camp under the trees in the partially serviced campsites. Naramata Centre is the perfect place to relax and nourish your mind, body and soul throughout the year. You belong here!
